Jagdish Sheth School of Management, Bengaluru (JAGSoM) is a place which has turned out to be my another hub of learning, facing challenges and continuous growth. It all started in 2022 when I decided to quit my job and start preparing for the most famous MBA/PGDM entrance exam CAT. In the month of January with the recommendation of my mentor and tutor I registered for program at JAGSoM Bengaluru. Soon after I registered I got an invite to join the ASP i.e., Admissions Selection Process. The ASP: The ASP started with Prof. Raj Chakroborty's (The Current PGDM Chair at JAGSoM Bengaluru) briefing. Soon after his briefing we underwent an online exam called JAGMAT which is mandatory for every aspirant who aspires to be a part of this institute. JAGMAT had the same format as CAT which had 75 questions to be answered in 90 minutes. There was no negative marking. The process continued with Group Exercise, PI1 and PI2. Group exercise as self explains was a task given for the group of students to discuss on a topic and prepare a presentation in about 20 min. It was then followed by two consecutive panel interviews PI1 and PI2. Panel for PI1 consisted of 3 members: 1) Corporate Panelist 2) Alumni Panelist 3) Faculty Panelist Panel for PI2 also called Shoulder Panel consisted of 2 members who were both immediate seniors. The ASP continued for almost entire day from 10:45 in the morning till 5 - 5:30 in the evening. It was informed in the briefing that our results will be declared over call after 2 days. Which meant that if we got selected we would get a personalized call from The PGDM Chair Prof. Raj Chakraborty congratulating the student for getting selected at JAGSoM Bengaluru. If somehow any student didn't make it through or got waitlist he/she would be informed the same over mail. And yes, exactly after 48 hours between 2-5 pm I received a call congratulating me for the selection and then the process continued smoothly. Registeration fee was paid, first installment was sent and that's where I stand today writing this review sitting in one of the classrooms at Jagdish Sheth School of Management Bengaluru. It has been an amazing journey so far. Lot of learnings as JAGSoM proudly believes in learning by doing.

Despite not chasing astronomical package figures, JAGSoM's placement record in 2022 was nothing short of impressive. The average package was commendable, a testament to the exceptional training and education provided by the faculty. The average package for the Class of 2022 is INR 13.30 LPA, with the highest package reaching INR 43 LPA. Top recruiters include Wipro, SAP Labs, Schneider Electric, Hexaware Technologies, and Federal Bank. I am really satisfied with the curriculum of this college. The faculty members have industry experience, which helps students in gaining knowledge about how actually the industry works and what are necessary skills required in the corporate world. The different career tracks provided in our courses are relevant to what the corporate needs of the future PGDM graduates. And the hostel life is too good, we have so many students from different communities.

I am satisfied with the kind of exposure provided. A good place for knowledge enrichment. Guest lectures give us current knowledge of the industry. I am absolutely satisfied because of the great teachers, peer learning, and facilities. The curriculum or the routine set by the college makes us industry ready. The pep subject increases our personality and communication, making our college different from others. it encourages students.
